I am a second year Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)(Mechanical/ Aerospace) student at the University of Queensland. I have a deep curiosity in the field of multi-planetary architecture and technologies facilitating the exploration of sustainable habitation in deep Space. The challenging nature of sending humans to outer-space to inhabit Mars or the Moon is not only an engineering problem but an architectural one - exploring sustainable ways that minimises human disturbance and enabling long-term human presence in deep space.
I am open to any vacation work programs, shadowing opportunities and chances to meet people working in the industry to accelerate my engineering career. I have previously completed 40 (of 48) credits towards a Bachelor of Architectural Design at the University of Queensland also, which I intend to finish after completion of my Engineering degree to better shape the design studios for my interests.
I am an active member of UQ Space as a Propulsions Engineer and have been the Queensland State Deputy for the Australian Youth Aerospace Association (AYAA) since 2021. Outside of university and work, I am very passionate about film photography and can often be found outdoors playing sports, hiking or at the beach. I shoot on my vintage 35mm Pentax SF7 SLR camera with a range of different films which I love to share and create content with. There's a little gallery below from three months away in Europe in 2022.
